Live polling apps, when done well, can take a huge weight off an event planners shoulders. Not having to manually poll everyone, worry about miscounts or anything, that really is a great piece of mind. Though, when something goes wrong, and there is no backup plan, it’s emergency time. I also love the idea of pre-event things, whether it be surveys or just a vote on how the facilities look. People think much higher of an event when they feel like they at least have a chance to voice some problems. Showing people you are open to suggestion on improvements proves you really care, and want to give the event your all.
